RESOLUTION AMENDING SELECTED PARK

AND MARINA BERTHING FEE SCHEDULES

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks staff periodically reviews fees charged for use of the County Parks, park features and park services, and is proposing amending the fee schedule as shown in Attachment A, to be effective July 1, 2007; and

WHEREAS, the Coyote Point Marina staff annually reviews fees charged for berthing as required by a loan agreement between the County and the California Department of Boating and Waterways to be adjusted by a rate not less than the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index (CPI) and is proposing a 2.4% increase in Marina berth rental fees as shown in Attachment B, to be effective August 1, 2007; and

WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission has reviewed both fee proposals and recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve the proposed changes in the Department of Parks and Marina Fee Schedules.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors by adoption of this resolution hereby approves amending selected Park and Marina Berthing Fee Schedules as shown in Attachments A and B.
