RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH CHILD CARE COORDINATING COUNCIL OF SAN MATEO COUNTY TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY WORKER AND CHILD CARE REFERRAL SERVICES, INCREASING THE AMOUNT BY $156,430, BRINGING THE TOTAL OBLIGATION TO $452,340, AND EXTENDING THE AGREEMENT THROUGH JUNE 30, 2008

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on November 15, 2005, the Board of Supervisors, by Resolution Number 67657, authorized an Agreement in the amount of $144,058 for the term of July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006 for the purpose of providing community worker and child care referral services; and

WHEREAS, on September 12, 2006, the Board of Supervisors, by Resolution Number 68272, authorized an amendment to the Agreement increasing the amount by $151,852, for a new total of $295,910 and extending the term through June 30, 2007; and

WHEREAS, the parties now wish to amend the Agreement a second time by increasing the amount by $156,430, changing the Agreement obligation to $452,340 and extending the term through June 30, 2008; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with this second Amendment to the Agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Second Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
