RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONTROLLER TO CONTINUE
PAYMENTS ON SAN MATEO MEDICAL CENTER CONTRACTS
FROM JULY 1, 2007 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2007

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Agreements listed in Attachment A, incorporated by reference herein, which will expire on June 30, 2007, and renewal agreements have not been completed; and

WHEREAS, the Controller does not have the authority to make payments to these contractors between the expiration date and time of completion of the agreements; and

WHEREAS, this Board wishes to continue payments to contractors listed in Attachment A through September 30, 2007, pending execution of new agreements.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors authorizes the Controller to continue payments through September 30, 2007, on said Agreements for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, subject to the contractors’ continued compliance with all terms and conditions of its most recent and previous agreement with the County with the exception of the fiscal provisions. Said payments are to be in the amounts authorized by the Chief Executive Officer of San Mateo Medical Center.
