BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION:
|
The County has conducted a recruitment for the position of Director of Child Support Services. Ms. Rodriguez has been nominated by the County Manager as the best candidate for this position based on her 18 years of progressively responsible experience with San Mateo County Child Support Services. Ms. Rodriguez currently serves as the Deputy Director of Child Support Services.

The Charter requires the Board of Supervisors to confirm appointments of department heads nominated the County Manager.

FISCAL IMPACT:
|
Ms. Rodriguez’s monthly salary will be $13,390.
