The Contract includes all required contract provisions and the Contractor has documented compliance with all relevant provisions including equal benefits and jury service provisions of the County ordinance codes.

Costs for materials required to maintain the historical integrity of the facility as well as the equipment required to access the steep-pitched roof are reflected in the bids received for this work.

A resolution has been approved as to form by County Counsel.

Fiscal Impact

The work is estimated to cost $115,000, including a fifteen percent (15%) contingency to fund additional work that may be required when the existing roof is removed and underlying sub-roof structure is exposed. This project is included in the 2006-2007 Capital Projects Budget and supplemented in the 2007-2008 Capital Project Budget and is financed with facility surcharges.
