RECOMMENDATION:
|
Approve the appointments of Rosanne Talcott and Lecia Roundtree, as the Public Sector Representatives to the Workforce Investment Board, each to a term expiring June 30, 2009.

BACKGROUND:
|
The applications of Rosanne Talcott and Lecia Roundtree to become members of the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) were reviewed by the WIB Board Development Committee on May 9, 2007 and were recommended for approval.
|
|
|
DISCUSSION:
|
Rosanne Talcott is currently a Human Resource Consultant for Wells Fargo Bank. Her responsibilities include training and employee relations for 35 branches of Wells Fargo in the Peninsula.
Lecia Roundtree is currently the Vice President of Human Resources for San Mateo Credit Union. She has over 18 years of experience with employee training, salary and benefits administration and recruitment.
