RECOMMENDATION:
|
Adopt a Resolution authorizing the execution of a three year revenue Agreement with the Department of Rehabilitation for training and employment services for mental health consumers, for the term of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2010, the amount allocated to the County by the State is $2,545,500. There is no Net County Cost.

BACKGROUND:
|
Since 2002 the County of San Mateo and the Department of Rehabilitation have worked together to provide situational assessment, work adjustment, employment preparation, job development and placement services for County Mental Health consumers.
|
|
|
DISCUSSION:
|
The Agreement with the Department of Rehabilitation appropriates funds from the State to the County for FY 2007-08 through FY 2009-10 so that services to San Mateo County residents can continue under the Mental Health Coop Program.
|

|
County Counsel has approved this Agreement as to form and the Department of Rehabilitation has been provided with the County’s certificate of insurance. The County is the Contractor under this Agreement.

FISCAL IMPACT:
|
The amount of the Agreement is $2,545,500. The term of this Agreement is from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2010, a period of three years. The amount of $2,545,500 is to be allocated equally in the amount of $848,500 for each of the three years. Funding is included 2007-08 Tentatively Adopted Budget and will be included in the FY 2008-09 and FY 2009-10 Recommended Budgets. There is no Net County Cost.
