RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY AND IMPROVEMENTS AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONSIDERATION OF FINAL ACTIONS RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF THE REAL PROPERTY AND IMPROVEMENTS LOCATED AT 410 MAPLE AVENUE IN SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO FROM BAY COMMUNITY HOUSING LP

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo desires to purchase real property and improvements located at 410 Maple Avenue, South San Francisco (the “Property”); and
|
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 25350 provides that no purchase of real property by the County with a purchase price in excess of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) shall be made unless a notice of intention to make the purchase is first published in accordance with that Section and Government Code Section 6063; and
|
WHEREAS, the proposed purchase price for the Property is greater than Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000); and
|
WHEREAS, this Board desires to consider the purchase of the Property.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Clerk of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to publish a Notice of Intention to purchase the Property pursuant to Government Code Sections 25350 and 6063.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing be set for September 11, 2007, at 9:15 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Supervisors’ Chambers in the Hall of Justice, 400 County Center, Redwood City, as the date, time and place of a public meeting to consider the purchase of the Property.
