Inpatient Psychiatry Differential
Effective August 12, 2007, the differential amount will increase from 5% to 10%.
Experience Pay
Effective August 12, 2007, unit members who have worked the equivalent of ten or more years of full-time service for the County will receive 2% experience pay.
Overtime
Effective August 12, 2007, for purposes of determining eligibility for overtime compensation, paid sick leave shall no longer be considered as time worked.
Shift Differential
Shift differential of 8% will be paid on all hours worked between 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
On-Call
Effective August 12, 2007, the rate for Staff Physicians in an on-call status for the San Mateo Medical Center will increase from $10.00 per hour to $12.50 per hour.
Retiree Medical Coverage
For unit members who retire on or after August 12, 2007, the conversion rate for each eight hours of unused sick leave will increase from $165 ($195 for unit members who retire with 45% or more of accrued sick leave) to $330 ($390 for unit members who retire with 45% or more of accrued sick leave).
Educational Leave
Effective August 12, 2007, educational leave with pay hours will increase from 40 hours to 80 hours per year.
Bilingual Pay
Effective August 12, 2007, Tier 1 will increase from $42.50 to $45.00 and Tier 2 will increase from $55.00 to $60.00. Effective August 9, 2009, Tier 1 will increase to $50.00 and Tier 2 will increase to $65.00.
