Resolution Authorizing the President of the Board to Execute a Grant Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration for the Rehabilitation of Taxiways
and Construction of Drainage Improvements at the San Carlos Airport
(AIP No. 3-06-0210-11)

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has offered the County an airport improvement grant (AIP No. 3-06-0210-11) in the amount of $300,000 for the rehabilitation of taxiways and construction of drainage improvements at the San Carlos Airport; and

WHEREAS, the FAA requires the County, as a condition of receiving these grant funds, to enter into an agreement which provides the conditions governing the use of said grant funds by the County; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed said agreement and considered same.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

The President of this Board is authorized to execute a grant agreement with Federal Aviation Administration dated August 30, 2007, on behalf of the County of San Mateo to the San Carlos Airport for the rehabilitation of taxiways and construction of drainage improvements (AIP No. 3-06-0210-11); and

2.

The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized and directed to attest to the signature of the President of this Board to said agreement; and

3.

The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to sign any other documents associated with the acceptance of federal grant funds for the aforesaid project.
