Resolution Revising a Twenty Minute Time Limited
Parking Zone to a One Hour Time Limited Parking Zone on
Hurlingame Avenue, North Fair Oaks Area

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code provides that local authorities may, by ordinance or resolution, restrict the stopping, parking or standing of vehicles in public rights-of-way; and

WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Ordinance Code Section 7.28.010 authorizes the Board of Supervisors to prohibit, restrict or limit parking by resolution; and

WHEREAS, at the recommendation of the Director of Public Works, the Board of Supervisors has previously designated a portion of Hurlingame Avenue as a twenty-minute time limited parking zone; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended revising said twenty-minute time limited parking zone to a one hour time limited parking zone; and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has reviewed and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

A one hour time limited parking zone is declared to exist at the following location:

On the northerly side of HURLINGAME AVENUE commencing at a point 140 feet westerly of the intersection of BAY ROAD and extending westerly, a distance of 34 feet, more or less.

2.

Said one-hour time limited parking zone shall remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of Supervisors
