RESOLUTION 1) ADOPTING A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 068419 REGARDING SALARIES AND BENEFITS OF UNREPRESENTED MANAGEMENT AND; 2) ADOPTING AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SALARY ORDINANCE TO ADJUST THE SALARIES AND BENEFITS OF MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors in Resolution No. 068419 established certain salaries and benefits for unrepresented Management personnel not covered by a Memorandum of Understanding; and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors desires to amend the expressed salaries and benefit of unrepresented management personnel not covered by a Memorandum of Understanding; and

BE IT RESOLVED that Section 1, paragraph 15 of resolution 068419 “Expressing The Salary And Benefits Of Unrepresented Management Personnel Of The County Of San Mateo”, be amended as follows:

15. Special Compensation

Medical Program Managers assigned lead medical program responsibility for a county wide program or service shall no longer receive premium pay of 5% in addition to all other compensation. The 5% premium pay to be reflected in the base pay.

Medical Program Managers who supervise employees in the classifications of Supervising Child Psychiatrist and Supervising Adult Psychiatrist shall receive a differential of 9.2% in addition to all other compensation. Only one employee at a time may be so assigned.

Sheriff's Lieutenants assigned to supervise Sergeants that are designated as detectives shall receive premium pay at the rate of five (5)% of his/her salary in addition to all other compensation.

All other provisions of Resolution 068419 shall remain in full force and effect.

 

WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department Director, the Chief Executive Officer of the San Mateo Medical Center, the Director of Health Services and the San Mateo County Sheriff have recommended that said Amendment be approved; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors considered the recommendation of the Director of Human Resources, the Chief Executive Officer of the San Mateo Medical Center, the Director of Health Services and the San Mateo County Sheriff.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors hereby approves said Amendment to the Resolution expressing Special Compensation to the salary and benefits of unrepresented management personnel.
