RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH YOUTH AND FAMILY ENRICHMENT SERVICES (YFES) FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, SUPPORT FOR THE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE, COMMUNITY WORKER SERVICES, AND TOBACCO CESSATION SERVICES FOR THE TERM JULY 1, 2007 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2008, FOR A MAXIMUM OBLIGATION OF $1,321,451

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Agreement with Youth and Family Enrichment Services, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to enter into an Agreement to provide mental health services, support for the Youth Development Initiative, community worker services for the Family Health Services, and tobacco cessation services for Public Health, for the period of July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008, for a total obligation of $1,321,451, of which $392,579 is Net County Cost; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the Agreement as to form and content and desires to enter into same:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
