RESOLUTION DESIGNATING NO PARKING AND TOW AWAY ZONE
IN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY – MICHAEL D. NEVIN WAY (“B” STREET),
DALY CITY AREA

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish no parking and tow away zones in public rights-of-ways; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that there is a need to continue to provide for a no parking and tow away zone on Michael D. Nevin Way (“B” Street) to provide for the orderly movement of traffic; and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has reviewed and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

A no parking and tow away zone is declared to exist at the following location:

Ø

On both sides of the entire length of MICHAEL D. NEVIN WAY (“B” STREET) commencing at EL CAMINO REAL and extending westerly a distance of 500 feet, more or less.

2.

Said no parking and tow away zone shall remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of Supervisors.
