BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION (1) WAIVING THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL PROCESS; (2) AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH

WRIGHT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES, LLC FOR PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS CONSULTING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE TERM OF OCTOBER 2, 2007 THROUGH October 1, 2010 IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $717,600; AND (3) AUTHORIZING THE ASSESSOR-COUNTY CLERK-RECORDER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS WHICH MODIFY THE COUNTY'S MAXIMUM FISCAL OBLIGATION BY NO MORE THAN $25,000 (IN AGGREGATE), AND/OR MODIFY THE CONTRACT TERM AND/OR SERVICES SO LONG AS THE MODIFIED TERM OR SERVICES IS/ARE WITHIN THE CURRENT OR REVISED FISCAL PROVISIONS.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Supervisors for its consideration and approval the form of an agreement whereby Wright Information Technology Services, LLC will provide professional project management services for the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder, for the term of October 2, 2007 through October 1, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $717,600.00; and

 

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Supervisors for its consideration and approval a request for waiver of the Request for Proposal process for said services, because said contractor is uniquely qualified to provide said services; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the best interests of the County would be served without the necessity of the Request for Proposal process; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board has examined and approved the agreement as to both form and content and desires to enter into the same;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that (1) the Request for Proposal process is waived; (2) the President of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute the agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of the Board shall attest the signature thereto; and (3) the Assessor-County Clerk-Recorder or his designee is hereby authorized to execute contract amendments which modify the County's maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate), and/or modify the contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions.
