    RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT WITH DELL MARKETING LP TO EXECUTE THE OPTION IN THE DELL MASTER LEASE AGREEMENT TO EXTEND IT FOR TWO YEARS AND AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS WHICH MODIFY THE COUNTY’S MAXIMUM FISCAL OBLIGATION BY NO MORE THAN $25,000 (IN AGGREGATE), AND/OR MODIFY THE CONTRACT TERM AND/OR SERVICES SO LONG AS THE MODIFIED TERM OR SERVICES IS/ARE WITHIN THE CURRENT OR REVISED FISCAL PROVISIONS.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, Dell Marketing LP and the County of San Mateo now wish to execute the option to extend the Master Lease Agreement for the sole source lease of Dell equipment, for a total contract term of 5 years term beginning October 19, 2007 and ending October 18, 2009, and;

 

WHEREAS, this Board has been requested to grant signature authority to the Chief Information Officer or his designee to execute contract amendments which modify the County’s maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate), and/or modify the Contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions;

 

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of the Amendment, said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the

President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to execute said Agreement as is approved by the County Counsel for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.

That signature authority is granted to the Chief Information Officer to execute contract amendments which modify the County’s maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate), and/or modify the Contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions.
