Approve the revised Board of Supervisors’ meeting schedule for calendar year 2008. | |||

BACKGROUND: | |||
On October 16, 2007, the Board of Supervisors’ approved its meeting schedule for calendar year 2008. Due to a scheduling conflict with the National Association of Counties (NACo) Annual Conference, July 15th was removed from the list of meetings. | |||
The schedule was based on the assumption that the California State Association of Counties (CSAC) would hold its annual conference before Thanksgiving. However, CSAC now calls for the annual conference to be held after Thanksgiving. In order to avoid scheduling a Board meeting during the CSAC conference, I recommend removing December 2nd and adding November 18th and December 9th to the meeting schedule. | |||
