BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH PETDATA, INC. TO PROVIDE ANIMAL LICENSING SERVICES FOR THE TERM OF JANUARY 1, 2008 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2010, FOR A MAXIMUM OBLIGATION OF $480,000

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County and the 20 cities wish to provide animal licensing services as required under local and State law and in the interest of the public safety and welfare, for the entire unincorporated areas of the County of San Mateo and all cities within the County of San Mateo; and

WHEREAS, PetData, Inc. was selected by a Request for Proposal process to provide the County with said animal licensing services; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to enter into an Agreement to provide said services for the period of January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2010, for a total obligation not to exceed $480,000; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance, an Agreement between the County of San Mateo and PetData Inc., reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the Agreement as to form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of the Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
