RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH CAMINAR INCREASING THE MAXIMUM BY $266,005 TO A NEW MAXIMUM OF $6,791,820 WITH NO CHANGE TO THE TERM OF JULY 1, 2007 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2008.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, on September 11, 2007, this Board of Supervisors approved an Agreement with Caminar by Resolution 068969 to provide housing and housing-related services, supported education services, intensive case management and rehabilitation services for the term July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008 for a maximum obligation of $6,525,815; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to amend the Agreement with Caminar for the provision of housing and housing–related services, supported education services, intensive case management and rehabilitation services to increase the amount by $266,005 for a new total obligation of $6,791,820 with no change to the term of the Agreement; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its

consideration and acceptance an Amendment to the Agreement, reference to which is

hereby made for further particulars, whereby Caminar shall provide housing and

housing-related services, supported education services, intensive case management

and rehabilitation services; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of the Amendment to the

Agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires

to enter into the Amendment to the Agreement:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
