RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISION OF THE PROCUREMENT POLICY FOR THE HOUSING AUTHORITY

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority is required to establish and follow written procurement policy consistent with 24 CFR 85.36;

WHEREAS, HUD published an update to its Public Housing Procurement Handbook (7460.8, Rev. 2);

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority’s current Procurement Policy requires revisions due to changes within HUD procurement guidelines;

WHEREAS, this Board is authorized to approve the Procurement Policy;

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration and acceptance the Procurement Policy reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board has examined and approved the same as to form and content.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority, approve the Procurement Policy.
