SUBJECT:

Appointment of Dianne Whitaker, Mark Bartos and Morton Frank to the San Mateo County Design Review Committee. Move Douglas Snow from the Coastside Design Review to the Bayside Design Review.

 

RECOMMENDATION:

Affirm the appointment of Dianne Whitaker and Mark Bartos as architects to the San Mateo County Coastside Design Review effective January 29th, 2008 and expiring on March 31st, 2011.

Affirm the appointment of Morton Frank as an alternate architect to the San Mateo County Bayside Design Review Committee effective January 29th, 2008 and expiring on March 31st, 2011.

Affirm the move of Douglas Snow from the architect position on the San Mateo County Coastside Design Review Committee to the architect position on the San Mateo County Bayside Design Review Committee effective January 29th, 2008 and expiring on March 31st, 2011.

BACKGROUND:

There is currently a vacancy for the architect position on the Coastside Design Review. Dianne Whitaker is an independent architect from San Mateo who well qualified for the position on the Coastside Design Review. Mark Bartos is an architect and Vice President of Deiling, Terrones and Bartos Architecture in Burlingame and is well qualified for the position on Coastside Design Review.


There is currently a vacancy for the architect and the alternate position on the Bayside Design Review. Douglas Snow, who currently serves as an architect on the Coastside Design Review Committee wishes to move to the Bayside Design Review Committee. He has served as an architect on the Coastside Design Review and is well qualified for the move to the Bayside Design Review. Morton Frank is an architect in San Mateo and is well qualified for the position of alternate on the Bayside Design Review.
