BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, SITTING AS THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVISED PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES FOR THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF

SAN MATEO

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Personnel Policies and Procedures of the Housing Authority require revisions in order to insure their compliance with current laws and practices; and

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority has, through the County’s Human Resources Department, engaged a consultant to assist with the development of the revised policies and procedures using the County of San Mateo policies and procedures as its model; and

WHEREAS, the Housing Authority has held meetings with its staff and with representatives of AFSCME to discuss and agree upon the new policies and procedures; and

WHEREAS, this Board is authorized to approve the revised Personnel Policies and Procedures; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration and acceptance the revised Personnel Policies and Procedures reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board of Commissioners has examined and approved the same as to form and content.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority authorize the Executive Director to implement the revised Personnel Policies and Procedures for the staff of the Housing Authority.
