PROCLAMATION DESIGNATING JANUARY 21-25, 2008, AS | ||||
National Eligibility Worker Recognition Week | ||||

WHEREAS, in San Mateo County, eligibility workers are known as Benefits Analysts, who assist thousands of individuals and families build strength and progress toward achieving economic self-sufficiency; and | ||||
WHEREAS, Benefits Analysts recognize the importance of customer service at the highest levels, and focus on their clients by fostering collaborations and partnerships that create mutual trust and respect; and | ||||
WHEREAS, Benefits Analysts are often among the first to communicate with an individual or a family in need, while establishing benchmarks for human rights, dignity and the diversity of the overall Peninsula community; and | ||||
WHEREAS, Benefits Analysts share information on a professional level to help identify best practices and to support continuous improvement and innovation. | ||||
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED that the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County hereby designates January 21-25, 2008, as National Eligibility Worker Recognition Week, and extends its gratitude to all San Mateo County Benefits Analysts. In addition, the Board encourages all to recognize the important role Benefits Analysts play in helping to ensure individuals and families receive the help they need. | ||||
