RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A NEW TWENTY-MINUTE TIME LIMITED
PARKING ZONE ON LISBON STREET

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 

WHEREAS, Section 22507 of the California Vehicle Code provides that local authorities may, by ordinance or resolution, restrict the stopping, parking or standing of vehicles in public rights-of-way; and

 

WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Ordinance Code Section 7.28.010 authorizes the Board of Supervisors to prohibit, restrict or limit parking by resolution; and

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that a new twenty-minute time limited parking zone be established on a portion of Lisbon Street to provide for the orderly movement of traffic; and

 

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has reviewed and concurs with the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

 

1.

A twenty-minute time limited parking zone is declared to exist at the following location:

On the southerly side of LISBON STREET commencing at a point 63 feet easterly of the intersection of HILLSIDE BOULEVARD and extending easterly a distance of 20 feet, more or less.

 

2.

Said twenty-minute time limited parking zone shall remain in effect until rescinded by the Board of Supervisors.
