RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH NETSMART TECHNOLOGIES, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM AND SUPPORT SERVICES ON BEHALF OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND RECOVERY SERVICES (BHRS) FOR THE TERM OF SEVEN (7) YEARS, COMMENCING UPON THE DATE OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’ APPROVAL, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,759,409, AND AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS WHICH MODIFY THE COUNTY’S MAXIMUM FISCAL OBLIGATION BY NO MORE THAN $25,000 (IN AGGREGATE), AND/OR MODIFY THE CONTRACT TERM AND/OR SERVICES SO LONG AS THE MODIFIED TERM OR SERVICES IS/ARE WITHIN THE CURRENT OR REVISED FISCAL PROVISIONS.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
WHEREAS, Netsmart Technologies, Inc. and the County of San Mateo now wish to enter into an Agreement for a management information system and support services, for the term of seven (7) years, commencing upon the date of the Board of Supervisors’ approval, in an amount not to exceed $3,759,409; and
|
WHEREAS, this Board has been requested to grant signature authority to the Chief Information Officer or his designee to execute contract amendments which modify the County’s maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate), and/or modify the Contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of the authorization, said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the
President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized to execute said Agreement as is approved by the County Counsel for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
That signature authority is granted to the Chief Information Officer to execute contract amendments which modify the County’s maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate), and/or modify the Contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions.
