Reappointment to the Parks and Recreation Commission

RECOMMENDATION:

Reappoint Marian Vanden Bosch to the Parks and Recreation Commission, with a term expiring 12/31/2008.

BACKGROUND:

The Parks and Recreation Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors and the County Manager in all matters concerning the construction and maintenance of the physical property under the jurisdiction of said commission, and also shall have the duty to study and recommend to the Board of Supervisors and the County Manager the purchase, lease, or other acquisition of all lands, or any use thereof or interest therein, improvement or operation of the recreational areas, or the carrying out of recreational projects. Sets fees.
