RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION TO PROVIDE SERVICES UNDER THE WAYS TO WORK FAMILY LOAN PROGRAM (WTW) FOR THE TERM OF JULY 1, 2007 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2009 IN THE AMOUNT OF $250,000.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, On May 15, 2007, by Resolution Number 068734, the Board of Supervisors accepted a grant from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in the amount of $250,000 for the WtW Program; and

WHEREAS, the WtW Program will provide loans to help families with the purchase of a reliable safe automobile to get to work on time; repairs for their automobile; or car insurance; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Agreement and said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into the same.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President's signature thereto.
