RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH AETNA HEALTH OF CALIFORNIA, INC. (AETNA) FOR THE PROVISION OF THEIR HEALTH PLAN SERVICES FOR THE TERM APRIL 15, 2008 TO APRIL 14, 2011

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, Aetna Health of California, Inc. (Aetna) and San Mateo County seek to enter into an Agreement whereby Aetna will reimburse the County for providing inpatient, outpatient and emergency services to Aetna members; and;

WHEREAS, the Board has considered this Agreement and has approved it as to both form and content, and desires to enter into it.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the President of the Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
