RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PUBLIC HEALTH FEES EFFECTIVE APRIL 15, 2008, ALLOWING A FEE INCREASE FOR COPIES OF BIRTH AND DEATH CERTIFICATES.

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, has authority to establish and change certain fees or service charges subject to legal requirements; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sections 100425, 100430 and 103625 of the Health and Safety Code authorize and require the County to charge fees related to the issuance of copies of birth and death certificates; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, the Board has determined to exercise this authority by adopting the fees that are set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as the San Mateo County Public Health Fee Schedule for FY 2007-08; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors finds that the fees set forth in Exhibit A do not exceed the cost of providing the product or service or enforcing the regulation for which the fees are levied; and
|

|
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo that:

Based on the above Recitals, the Board hereby adopts the FY 2007-08 San Mateo County Public Health Fee Schedule attached hereto as Exhibit A;
|
|
|
|
2.
|
The fees set forth in the attached Exhibit A are effective April 15, 2008.
