RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT EPO CDC 07-41 WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH TO PROVIDE HEALTH EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FOR THE PERIOD OF AUGUST 31, 2007 THROUGH AUGUST 9, 2008, IN THE AMOUNT OF $182,267.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance Agreement EPO CDC 07-41 with the California Department of Public Health, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, whereby the San Mateo County Health Department, Public Health and Environmental Protection Division shall provide health emergency preparedness; and

WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement is August 31, 2007 through August 9, 2008, and the maximum dollar amount is $182,267; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with this Agreement and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Agreement:

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
