RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE MIDCOAST ACTION PLAN

FOR PARKS AND RECREATION

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Department of Parks has prepared an Action Plan for providing neighborhood and community recreation services and facilities on the Midcoast; and

WHEREAS, the park and recreation plan envisioned in this Action Plan includes neighborhood parks, community parks, a community recreation building and a Midcoast trail system to fulfill the local neighborhood needs of Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Princeton, and Miramar; and

WHEREAS, the Action Plan outlines near and long term objectives and a strategy for implementation.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors approve and adopt the Midcoast Action Plan for Parks and Recreation.
