BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, SITTING AS THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISIONS TO THE HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER (SECTION 8) PROGAM ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, sitting as the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCV), commonly known as the “Section 8 Program”, rules and regulations are determine by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and administered locally according to each housing authority’s Administrative Plan; and

WHEREAS, the 2008-2009 Annual Plan for the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo was approved by the Board of Commissioners on April 8, 2008, and the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo must ensure that the language in its Administrative Plan reflects language stated in its Annual Plan, where applicable; and

WHEREAS, any changes to the Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan must be approved by the Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners; and

WHEREAS, this Board is authorized to approve the revised Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan; and

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration and acceptance the revised Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan reference to which is hereby made for further particulars, and the Board of Commissioners has examined and approved the same as to form and content.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of San Mateo, approve the Housing Choice Voucher Administrative Plan.
