AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 04380

The Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, ordains as follows:

SECTION 1. Part 4 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

ORGANIZATION 70000 HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY

1.

The Salary for item D160, Social Services Program Specialist - Management, is changed to range 4059.

SECTION 2. Part 12 of the Ordinance is amended as indicated:

ORGANIZATION 15000 TAX COLLECTOR-TREASURER

1.

Item E349, Lead Fiscal Office Assistant, is decreased by 2 positions for a new total of 0 positions.

2.

Item E350, Fiscal Office Specialist, is increased by 2 positions for a new total of 16 positions.

ORGANIZATION 30000 SHERIFF’S OFFICE

1.

Item E337, Office Specialist, is decreased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position.

2.

Item E403, Payroll/Personnel Services Specialist, is increased by 1 position for a new total of 1 position.

ORGANIZATION 70000 HUMAN SERVICES AGENCY

1.

Item G069, Benefits Analyst III, is decreased by 4 positions for a new total of 41 positions.

2.

Item G233, Human Services Hearings Officer, is increased by 4 positions for a new total of 4 positions.

SECTION 3. The changes for Organization 15000, Section 2, Items 1 and 2 are effective retroactive to November 24, 2007 and December 27, 2007. The changes for Organization 70000, Section 2, Items 1 and 2 are effective retroactive to June 17, 2007. All other parts of this ordinance are effective at the start of the first pay period 30 days following adoption.
