RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE A SECOND AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH THE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY TO ADD FLEXIBLE FUND ADMINISTRATION FOR THE ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUG SERVICES HOUSING SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR FY 2007-08, ADD A COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT FOR FY 2007-08, AND INCREASE THE MAXIMUM OBLIGATION BY $59,255 FROM $4,134,514 TO $4,193,769 WITH NO CHANGE TO THE TERM OF JULY 1, 2006 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2008.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance a Second Amendment to the Agreement with Mental Health Association of San Mateo, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars;

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to enter into a Second Amendment to the Agreement to add Flexible Fund administration for the Alcohol and Other Drug Services Housing Support program and FY 2007-08 Cost of Living Adjustments, and to increase the maximum obligation by $59,255 from $4,134,514 to $4,193,769, with no change to the Agreement term of July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2008, and

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has examined and approved the Second Amendment to the Agreement as to form and content and desires to enter into same:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Second Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
