On January 30, 2008, the County Manager's Office approved an Amendment to add the Food Stamp Outreach Program in the amount of $36,709. This Second Amendment is to add funds for the remaining term of the original Agreement, funding the Operation Brown Bag and Food Assistance Programs only, which Second Harvest successfully administers/manages in San Mateo County.

This Amendment has been reviewed and approved as to form by the County Counsel’s office and Risk Management has approved the Contractor’s Insurance.

FISCAL IMPACT:

The term of the Agreement remains the same, July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2010. This Amendment adds $130,380 for a total obligation of $230,380. Of the Amended amount $130,380 is Net County Cost. Appropriations have been included in the

FY 2008-09 tentatively Adopted Budget and the FY 2009-10 Recommended Budget.
