BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE ON CALL MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING CONSULTING AGREEMENTS WITH GUTTMANN & BLAEVOET, INTERFACE ENGINEERING, AND MAZZETTI & ASSOCIATES, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $200,000 FOR EACH AGREEMENT FOR THE PERIOD OF JULY 1, 2008 THROUGH
JUNE 30, 2011.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo is authorized to engage the services of professional technical experts; and

WHEREAS, the public interest and general welfare will be served by selecting and using qualified engineering firms for various professional consulting services; and

WHEREAS, the mechanical and electrical engineering firms, Guttmann & Blaevoet; Interface Engineering; and Mazzetti and Associates are engineering firms qualified to provide professional consulting services on a variety of projects; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that an agreement be entered into with the firms of Guttmann & Blaevoet; Interface Engineering; and Mazzetti & Associates to provide professional consulting services as may be needed and under the direction of the Director of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, this Board has considered the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby determined and ordered that the President of this Board of Supervisors be, and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreements on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
