RESOLUTION CREATING VARIOUS PARKING RESTRICTIONS IN THE NORTH FAIR OAKS AREA

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish parking zones in public rights-of-ways; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that parking zones be created and revised as noted herein; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

1.

Disabled Parking Zones are hereby established at the following locations:

Ø

Warrington Avenue

On the northerly side of WARRINGTON AVENUE commencing at a point 132 feet northeasterly of the intersection of HALSEY AVENUE and extending northeasterly a distance of 20 feet, more or less.

Ø

Hurlingame Avenue

On the northerly side of HURLINGAME AVENUE commencing at a point 129 feet southwesterly of the intersection of HALSEY AVENUE and extending southwesterly a distance of 20 feet, more or less.

2.

A 20-minute Time Limited Parking Zone is hereby established at the following location:

Bay Road

On the southwesterly side of BAY ROAD commencing at a point 80 feet northerly of the intersection of WILLOW ROAD and extending northerly a distance of 20 feet, more or less.

A 20-minute Time Limited Parking Zone is hereby established at the following location:

Mac Arthur Avenue

On the easterly side of MAC ARTHUR AVENUE commencing at a point 245 feet northeasterly of the intersection of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD and extending northeasterly a distance of 39 feet, more or less, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted.

A 2-hour Time Limited Parking Zone is hereby abolished, in part, at the following location:

Mac Arthur Avenue

On the easterly side of MAC ARTHUR AVENUE commencing at a point 245 feet northeasterly of the intersection of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD and extending northeasterly a distance of 39 feet, more or less, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted. A 1-hour Time Limited Parking Zone is hereby abolished, in part, at the following location:

Pacific Avenue

On the southeasterly side of PACIFIC AVENUE commencing at a point 91 feet southerly of the intersection of MIDDLEFIELD ROAD and extending southerly a distance of 49 feet, more or less. (Resolution No. 067696 adopted 12/06/05)

Loading Zones are hereby abolished, in part, at the following location:

Sweeney Avenue

On the easterly side of SWEENEY AVENUE commencing at a point 225 feet northerly of the intersection of SPRING STREET and extending northerly a distance of 32 feet, more or less. (Resolution No. 068090 adopted 06/20/06)
