RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A ONE-TIME WAIVER OF THE $5.00 VEHICULAR ENTRY FEE TO COYOTE POINT RECREATION AREA AND FLOOD, HUDDART, JUNIPERO SERRA, MEMORIAL, SAM MCDONALD, SAN BRUNO MOUNTAIN, SAN PEDRO VALLEY, AND WUNDERLICH COUNTY PARKS FOR THE 15TH ANNUAL NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY ON SEPTEMBER 27, 2008

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

|
WHEREAS, the 15th Annual National Public Lands Day is September 27, 2008; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, San Mateo County Parks would like to use National Public Lands Day to promote volunteerism and increase public use of County Parks; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, there is a $5.00 vehicular entry fee for County Parks; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, County Parks requests the fee be waived one-time on National Public Lands Day, September 27, 2008, to promote volunteerism and encourage public use of County Parks.
|
|
|
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AND DETERMINED that the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors authorizes a one-time waiver of the $5.00 vehicular entry fee to Coyote Point Recreation Area and Flood, Huddart, Junipero Serra, Memorial, Sam McDonald, San Bruno Mountain, San Pedro Valley, and Wunderlich County Parks for the 15th Annual National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 27, 2008.
