Re-appointment of Jack Olsen to the San Mateo County Exposition and Fair Association Board of Directors

RECOMMENDATION:

Re-appoint Jack Olsen of Pescadero to the San Mateo County Exposition and Fair Association Board of Directors, to a three-year term expiring September 30, 2011.

Goal: Residents accept individual responsibility for contributing to the quality of life of the County as a whole.

BACKGROUND:

Jack Olsen has served on the Expo Board for 11 years, comprised of three full terms and one partial term. Mr. Olsen’s current term expires September 30, 2008, and he has requested re-appointment.

County regulations limit members of the Expo Board to four full terms.

If re-appointed to another three-year term, it would be Mr. Olsen’s final term.
