RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO REQUEST A NO PARKING ZONE ALONG EL CAMINO REAL SOUTH OF LOYOLA AVENUE IN THE NORTH FAIR OAKS AREA FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to establish no parking zones within State Highways; and

WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code requires that a resolution be first submitted to and approved in writing by the Department of Transportation; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that a no parking zone be created as noted herein; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

The Director of Public Works request from the State of California Department of Transportation, permission to establish a No Parking Zone on El Camino Real at Loyola Avenue as follows:

El Camino Real south of Loyola Avenue

On the Northeasterly side of El Camino Real commencing at a point 20 feet southeasterly of the intersection of Loyola Avenue and extending southeasterly a distance of 12 feet, more or less.
