RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING THE | ||||
San Mateo County Human Services Agency | ||||
Upon Its Accreditation By | ||||
The Council on Accreditation | ||||

WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Human Services Agency has been recognized as a provider of the highest order by the Council on Accreditation, an independent, not-for-profit, child- and family-service and behavioral health care monitoring organization; and | ||||
WHEREAS, from employment assistance to child welfare to veterans services to workforce development, HSA volunteered to undergo a comprehensive review across all programs and was measured against rigorous, national standards; and | ||||
WHEREAS, COA’s analysis specifically cited HSA’s commitment to meeting the Peninsula’s linguistic, cultural, socio-economic and geographic needs through approximately 300 workers speaking two-dozen different languages; and | ||||
WHEREAS, the accreditation review encompassed HSA as a whole, underscoring the tireless dedication and commitment of 850 dedicated employees helping to manage, maintain and guide the health and well-being of more than 40,000 individuals and families throughout the Peninsula. | ||||
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of San Mateo County congratulates all employees of the San Mateo County Human Services Agency upon receiving accreditation by the Council on Accreditation. The Board expresses its gratitude and extends sincere wishes for many more years of continuing excellence. | ||||
