ACTING AS THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE OAK KNOLL SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT (DISTRICT), ADOPT A RESOLUTION SETTING A TIME AND PLACE (OCTOBER 28^TH, 2008 AT 9:00AM – BOARD CHAMBERS,
400 COUNTY CENTER) FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF THE LANDS OF COOL TO THE OAK KNOLL SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
(711 ESTHER LN, APN 058-245-020, 058-244-030, 093-500-050 AND
A PORTION of 093-501-010) – REDWOOD CITY (OAK KNOLL) AREA

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, acting as the governing board of the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District, that

WHEREAS, this Board has received a request to annex the property at
711 Esther Lane (APN 058-245-020, 058-244-030, 093-500-050 and a portion of
093-501-010) in the Redwood City (Oak Knoll) Area to the OAK KNOLL SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT (District), which property is described in Exhibit “A” hereto attached and made a part hereof by reference; and

WHEREAS, a public hearing to consider said annexation is required by law.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that

Tuesday, the 28^th day of October 2008, at the hour of 9:00 a.m., at the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, in the Hall of Justice and Records, 400 County Center (formerly 401 Marshall Street), Redwood City, California, is hereby fixed as the date, time and place of a hearing when and where all persons having any objection to the annexation of said property to said District may be heard.

The Director of Public Works, pursuant to Section 4860 et. seq. of the Health and Safety Code, shall cause a copy of Exhibit “B” attached to this resolution and headed by the words “NOTICE OF HEARING”, to be published once a week for two successive weeks in the Independent Newspaper Group, a newspaper of general circulation, circulated in said District, and in the territory of the property proposed to be annexed, deemed by this Board to be most likely to give notice of hearing to all the inhabitants of each.

Copies of Exhibit “B” with the heading of “NOTICE OF HEARING” in letters not less than one inch in height shall also be posted in three conspicuous places within the District to which such property is proposed to be annexed, and three conspicuous places within the territory of the property proposed to be annexed, not less than ten days prior to the day set for the hearing.
