RESOLUTION HONORING AND COMMENDING
|

THE GRAND OPENING OF
ETERNITY GARDEN,
LIFEMARK CENTER &
FOOK ON GARDEN
|

WHEREAS, Lifemark Group is a multi-denominational company specializing in afterlife planning and ceremonial events for families and loved ones with diverse religious, ethnic and cultural traditions; and
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lifemark Group believes that every life leaves a mark on those it touches – and that it is an essential human need to properly honor the lives that have touched us most profoundly; and
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lifemark Group constructed the new ETERNITY GARDEN at Skylawn Memorial Park to provide much needed service to the Asian community, which now occupies 9 acres and is built in consultation with renowned Hong Kong Feng Shui master, Eagle Wong, to proffer maximum afterlife Feng Shui benefits; and

WHEREAS, LIFEMARK CENTER is the biggest funeral home in America, and is proud of its goal to provide the most comprehensive funeral services; and
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, FOOK ON GARDEN is an area inside Skylawn Memorial Park that Lifemark Group specially dedicated to the non-profit organization, Self-Help For The Elderly, and Lifemark Group works with Self-Help For The Elderly to provide affordable “afterlife planning” packages to their senior residents, organization’s employees and their family members.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, on October 30, 2008, hereby congratulates Lifemark Group on the grand opening of ETERNITY GARDEN, LIFEMARK CENTER and FOOK ON GARDEN, and thanks them for their dedicated work in providing facilities, products and services that allow their clients to honor and remember their loved ones.
