RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENTS WITH COMPUCOM SYSTEMS, INC. FOR CONTINGENCY STAFFING SERVICES FOR THE TERM DECEMBER 9, 2008, TO DECEMBER 8, 2011, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,500,000 AND STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS FOR CONTINGENCY STAFFING SERVICES FOR THE TERM DECEMBER 9, 2008, TO DECEMBER 8, 2011, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,500,000, LIMITING THE COUNTY’S TOTAL FISCAL OBLIGATION UNDER BOTH AGREEMENTS TO $3,500,000 IN AGGREGATE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE CONTRACT AMENDMENTS WHICH MODIFY THE COUNTY’S MAXIMUM FISCAL OBLIGATION BY NO MORE THAN $25,000 (IN AGGREGATE) AND/OR MODIFY THE CONTRACT TERM AND/OR SERVICES SO LONG AS THE MODIFIED TERM OR SERVICES IS/ARE WITHIN THE CURRENT OR REVISED FISCAL PROVISIONS.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

 WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance Agreements with Compucom Systems, Inc for the period of December 9, 2008, to December 8, 2011, for a total fiscal obligation of $3,500,000 and Strategic Staffing Solutions for the period of December 9, 2008, to December 8, 2011, for a total fiscal obligation of $3,500,000;

WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors wishes to limit the County’s total fiscal obligation under these two agreements to an amount not to exceed $3,500,000 in aggregate;

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of such Agreements, said Board has examined and approved same as to both form and content and desires to enter into same;

 WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors wishes to grant signature authority to the Chief Information Officer or his designee to execute contract amendments which modify the County’s maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate) and/or modify the contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions; and

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors is authorized and directed to execute said Agreements as are approved by the County Counsel for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County’s total fiscal obligation under both agreements is not to exceed $3,500,000 in aggregate.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that signature authority is granted to the Chief Information Officer or his designee to execute contract amendments which modify the County’s maximum fiscal obligation by no more than $25,000 (in aggregate) and/or modify the contract term and/or services so long as the modified term or services is/are within the current or revised fiscal provisions.
