BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA

ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH SANTA CLARA COUNTY FOR CRITICAL INPATIENT MENTAL HEALTH CARE ADDING ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE REGARDING MEDICAL INTERVENTION WITH NO CHANGE IN THE TERM OR AMOUNT.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, in June 2008 the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 069459, approving an Agreement with Santa Clara County to provide acute inpatient mental health services to San Mateo County inmates; and

WHEREAS, both parties now wish to amend the Agreement adding additional language to Exhibit A regarding medical intervention; and

WHEREAS, this Board of Supervisors has been presented with the Amendment to the Agreement and has examined and approved this Amendment as to both form and content and desires to enter into the Amendment to the Agreement:

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of this Board of Supervisors be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Amendment to the Agreement for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
