INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE COUNTY

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that
|
|
|
WHEREAS, the State of California Vehicle Code allows a local agency to install stops signs in public rights-of-ways; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that stop signs be installed as noted herein; and
|
|
|
WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs with the recommendations of the Director of Public Works.
|
|
|
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

Stop signs are hereby installed at the following intersections:
|

Upton Street (County Road No. 1313) at Harding Avenue (County Road No. 424), Emerald Lake Hills Area
|
|
|
|
One stop sign on the northeasterly corner of Upton Street to direct traffic to stop and yield to traffic on Harding Avenue.

Valencia Avenue (County Road No. 938) at Paloma Avenue (County Road No. 926) and Montecito Avenue (County Road No. 941), El Granada
|

|
Two stop signs on Valencia Avenue to direct traffic to stop and yield to the right of way at a 5-way stop.
