BACKGROUND:
|
The departure of Supervisor Jerry Hill has created a vacancy on the Caltrain Joint Powers Board.
|
|
|
DISCUSSION:
|
Based on my experiences and service on the SamTrans board, the Peninsula Congestion Relief Alliance as well as the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, I remain deeply interested in the regional transportation issues covered by the Caltrain Joint Powers Board. In addition, the vacant seat on Caltrain JPB is specifically allocated to one of the two county supervisors serving on the SamTrans board.
