RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH UNIVERSAL BUILDING SERVICES TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT BY $193,512 FOR A NEW TOTAL OF $887,088 FOR ADDITIONAL CUSTODIAL SERVICES.

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, the County entered into a contract with Universal Building Services for three years to provide custodial services at various facilities; and

WHEREAS, there is need for custodial services at additional facilities; and

WHEREAS, services at certain facilities are no longer required; and

WHEREAS, Universal Building Services has provided a cost estimate that is satisfactory to the County for the changes in services required.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the Board of Supervisors does hereby authorize the Director of Public Works to execute an amendment to the agreement with Universal Building Services to increase the total amount by $193,512 for a new total of $887,088 for the changes in services identified in the change order.
