RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF

STOP SIGNS IN EL GRANADA

______________________________________________________________

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 21351 allows local authorities to install stop signs at any location so as to control traffic within an intersection; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has recommended that stop signs be installed as noted herein; and

WHEREAS, this Board has reviewed and concurs in the recommendation of the Director of Public Works.

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that:

Stop Signs be installed at the following locations:

Ø

Francisco Avenue (County Road No. 922) at Avenue Cabrillo (County Road No. 912), El Granada

One stop sign in each direction on FRANCISCO AVENUE to direct traffic to stop and yield to the traffic on AVENUE CABRILLO.
