RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN ACCEPTANCE OF AWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $187,600 FROM THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, TUBERCULOSIS CONTROL BRANCH FOR THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA REGIONAL CIVIL DETENTION AT CORDILLERAS MENTAL HEALTH REHABILITATION CENTER THAT SUPERSEDES THE ACCEPTANCE OF AWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $87,600 THAT WAS SIGNED ON NOVEMBER 14, 2008, FOR THE TERM OF JULY 1, 2008 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2009

RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo, State of California, that

WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board of Supervisors for its consideration and acceptance an Acceptance of Award from the California Department of Public Health, reference to which is hereby made for further particulars; and

WHEREAS, the California Department of Public Health will provide funding to the County to contract with Telecare Corporation to reserve and care for patient beds at Cordilleras Mental Health Rehabilitation Center for non-adherent TB patients in Northern California for the term of July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009, in the amount of $187,600; and

WHEREAS, this Board has been presented with a form of the Acceptance of Award and has examined and approved it as to both form and content and desires to execute the Acceptance of Award.

NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED that the President of the Board of Supervisors be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Acceptance of Award for and on behalf of the County of San Mateo, and the Clerk of this Board shall attest the President’s signature thereto.
